Sunnyside Up is a Chicago based acoustic quintet that performs music from a variety of traditions including bluegrass, jazz and folk.

Formed in the year 2001 by mandolin elderkind, Colby Maddox, Sunnyside Up has enjoyed several busy summers of street festivals, park district concerts and club dates. Their unique instrumentation, varied repertoire - from Bill Monroe to Lyle Lovett, and fiery improvisations have garnered them praise throughout the Midwest.
